Like my ironing basket, this blog has waited a long, long time.
I have been encouraged, motivated and supported by so many wonderful language teachers who have shared their knowledge and skills.
This blog is a way for me to:
Reflect on my Japanese language teaching, to learn, tweak and evolve
Reflect on my own language acquisition and current research
Pay it forward. Share ideas and strategies
Support other Japanese language teachers as I have been supported
There are many, many experienced teachers of other languages (especially Spanish and French) blogging about language acquisition.
This blog however is a way for me to consolidate my own learning and share tips and Japanese specific resources which may help other teachers of Japanese.
The blog will also shamelessly include cameos from my trusty side kick Benji, purely for added cuteness.
And maybe this blog may also be a handy distraction from the ironing pile……along with this little dude……
